northglenn justice center
The Northglenn Justice Center is a new facility provided to house the Northglenn police department as well as a new emergency communications center, municipal court offices and hearing spaces, and a general purpose community room for use by various organizations. The facility is 2 levels of structural steel framing with composite metal deck floors and braced frames. Roof framing consists of structural steel and bar joist framing. The lowest level is a structural slab on void with straight shaft drilled piers that walks out to the northern side of the site and contains a three bay sally port, police locker rooms and holding cells. The facility has many modern systems within it as well including LED technology, radiant floor heating and solar panel power which is supported on the roof.
